Voice translation
Speak naturally. Jusr stops listening on its own when you pause, then reads the answer back in a real, human-sounding voice.
Auto-stop dictationTranslate + learn · Built in the UAE
Jusr does both jobs. It translates — by voice, by camera, offline, and in real Gulf dialect rather than textbook Arabic. It teaches, with a guided path from your first letter to your first sentence. And it remembers you, so nothing you tell it has to be said twice.
Free to start, no account needed. Not out yet — we'll email you the day it lands.

About Jusr
Ask a normal translator for “how much is this?” in Arabic and you get كم سعره؟ — grammatically perfect, and something no one in a Dubai souq has ever said out loud.
Jusr was built the other way round: from a hand-checked Emirati dataset of sound shifts, pronouns, verb forms and everyday vocabulary. Common phrases resolve instantly from a bundled lexicon — no network, no model, no drift. Everything else is grounded in that same dataset before it ever reaches a language model. And when a phrase genuinely is the same in both, Jusr tells you that too, instead of letting you guess.
Features
Five ways to be understood right now, and one to stop needing them. Every mode shares the same engine, the same dialect data and the same offline packs.
Speak naturally. Jusr stops listening on its own when you pause, then reads the answer back in a real, human-sounding voice.
Auto-stop dictationOne phone, two people, a microphone each side. Turns stack up as a real chat so nobody loses the thread mid-sentence.
Live back-and-forthPlug in headphones and go hands-free. Jusr listens continuously and whispers the translation while the other person keeps talking.
Hands-free modePoint at a menu, a road sign, a tenancy contract or a clinic form. Text is detected on the spot and translated where you're looking at it.

Choose what you speak and who you're speaking to — from 133 languages, with Emirati Arabic sitting alongside Gulf and standard Arabic as its own choice.
Just talk — Jusr hears when you start and when you stop. Or point the camera at the text in front of you, or type it out. Arabizi works too — write “shu al7een?” and Jusr reads it as Arabic.
Dialect-accurate script, romanization tuned to how Gulf speakers pronounce it, and a tap-to-play voice — plus an honest label when a phrase falls back to standard Arabic.
Star it into favourites, find it again in history, or let it turn into tomorrow's daily phrase. Download the pack once and every one of those still works in airplane mode.
Jusr AI
Not a chatbot with a form to fill in. Tell Jusr once that you're in Dubai and use Arabic at work, and every answer after that is for you — today, tomorrow, and the next time you open the app.
Your goals, your level, what you keep looking up, the phrase you got wrong last week. Ask “what should I learn next?” and it already knows the language, and why.
Memory you can see and clearWarm, short, and to the point. It asks a real follow-up when one helps, corrects you the way a friend would, and never opens with “Certainly!”.
Text or live voiceNo button to hold. It listens, answers out loud, and stops the moment you interrupt — then listens again, still on the same conversation.
Hands-free · interrupt any timeHow do I say “how are you?” to my manager?
شخبارك؟
Shakhbaarak?
That’s the everyday Emirati one — fine with your manager too, it’s friendly rather than casual. If he’s much older, kaif il-haal? is the safer step up. The usual reply is bkhair, il-hamdulillah.
What should I learn next?
You’ve got greetings and the office basics down. Since it’s work Arabic you’re after, next is asking for things politely — mumkin…? — and I’ll keep it Emirati, not textbook. Want to start with three?

Government errands ship with their own ready flows — Tasheel, Amer, MOHRE, RTA, DHA and Ejari.
Learn
Jusr is a teacher as much as a translator. There is an ordered path from your first letter to your first written sentence, a coach that listens to you say it, and an exam that will not let you move on until you have actually earned it.
Every letter and the sound it makes.
Count from zero to ten, and read the numerals.
Hello, thank you, water, food, friend, sorry.
Trace each letter with your finger until it sticks.
Write the whole sentence yourself, unaided.
Reading a phrase is not the same as being understood saying it. Tap the mic, say it aloud, and Jusr transcribes what actually came out of your mouth — then tells you whether you nailed it or shows you what it heard instead.

A new phrase each morning, and a streak that survives until midnight. Miss a few and they queue up as catch-up rather than quietly disappearing.
Five graded sections — handwriting, letter pronunciation, numerals, words, then a final written paper. Score 60% or better to unlock the next one.
Alphabet charts for Arabic, Emirati Arabic, Persian, Turkish, Kurdish and Tamazight — bundled with the pack, so they still work with no signal.
Why Jusr
The UAE runs on a dozen languages at once. Jusr is designed for that reality — the dialect people actually use, the errands they actually run, the moments the signal drops.
A curated Emirati dataset — sound shifts, pronouns, verb conjugations, aspect and negation markers, plus vocabulary mapped to the standard word it replaces — sits underneath every answer. Common phrases come straight from a bundled lexicon, so they're exact every time rather than whatever a model felt like that call.
Download a pack once and translation, phrasebook and lessons keep running underground, mid-desert or in airplane mode.
Ready phrase flows for Tasheel, Amer, MOHRE, RTA, DHA and Ejari — the sentences you actually need at the counter.
Malayalam, Hindi, Urdu, Tagalog, Tamil, Bengali and beyond — with dedicated packs for the region's largest communities.
SOS phrases, embassy and helpline numbers saved offline, and a one-tap emergency screen that doesn't need a search box.
When an answer falls back to standard Arabic, Jusr says so on screen. You always know whether you're speaking dialect or fus-ha.
